INTENSIVE EMDR – A Brief Intense Therapy
Life sometimes feels like a journey through trauma and scary things. Sometimes all it takes is one horrible event…and that one can be huge and life-changing. It may or may not be PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder). We all have painful memories that haunt us, things which we can’t put into perspective or can’t quite put away, so we can move forward. This “stuckness” keeps us tied to that memory. This is when the intervention of a powerful healing method can help. This method is called EMDR.

Have you experienced a disturbing event or a recurrent memory you can’t seem to let go of?
Do you want to get more done in a therapy session than 50 minutes allows?
Do you want to try the established trauma therapy EMDR, but don’t have time for many sessions?
Have you tried EMDR, but want a more efficient, INTENSE experience?
Have you felt that traditional therapy was not enough to help you with your emotional pain?
There is a solution…
The Healing Power of EMDR intensified
• Fits into your busy schedule by capitalizing on a weekend or a week
• Focused to handle complex trauma
• Effective when psychotherapy has not been enough
Wait…What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a way of stimulating the brain by using bilateral movements (such as eye movements).
These activate your left and right brain to form connecting pathways.
These new pathways harness the same power at work during REM sleep to help you process memories, thoughts, and emotions.
These newly processed memories, thoughts, and emotions bring a fresh perspective on traumatic experience that enables recall without the original pain.
In short, EMDR reprocesses your trauma in a way that becomes manageable, calms the nervous system, restores function to your routine, and gives you back your life.
Relief from Trauma
EMDR is suitable for all kinds of trauma: adverse childhood experiences, grief, witness to or experience of violent events, sexual trauma, natural disasters, surviving Covid-19 and the pandemic, and complex trauma.
Intensive EMDR is especially effective with complex trauma, a deeply-ingrained, sometimes ongoing trauma from which there is little relief.
